Sin City Race report

The Final round is upon us after a hellacious series with lots of injuries more first time winners and three championships won before the final round here in vegas. The Most exciting part of the night will be the Shootout bringing the best of west and baddest of the east together for one night. The track once again was trying with some serious timing sections and peaked out triples.

 

East main event.

Barcia takes the early lead with Roczen and Baggett in second and third. After the start Barcia started inching away from Roczen in second who made a pass around Baggett. Stewart is in fourth riding solid laps. Half way mark and Barcia makes a big mistake allowing Roczen to close up on him.  But Barcia puts in a solid lap and build up his lead again. Barcia Takes the win with Roczen taking second place and Baggett in third.

West main event

Tomac comes out with the lead Davalos in second Anderson third. Musquin is fourth. Tomac is a man on a mission. Wilson is up to fourth by the third lap and is going after the rockstar energy riders Anderson and Davalos.  Wilson is into third with 10 laps to go. Then 1 lap later he is into second place. With 9 laps to try and catch Tomac. Halfway point and Tomac way out front Wilson in second with Davalos in third place. Lap ten and its still tomac way out front Wilson second and Davalos has all he can handle by Hahn.  Hahn gets by Davalos and is into third place. Tomac takes the win Wilson takes second and Hahn third.

Supercross qualifying

Heat 1

Millsaps takes the holeshot but he’s got Weimer and short right on him. Two laps in and Millsaps has two bike lengths over Weimer. The battle for fifth was heating up between Grant Bowers and Faith. Millsaps goes on to take the heat race

Heat 2

Alessi takes the holeshot Brayton is second with Izzi third. Brayton takes over the lead and has a gap over Alessi, Dungey and Izzi. Izzi makes his way into second place and looks to be going after Brayton. Izzi goes down but remounted in fifth place.

Last Chance Qualifiers.

Lites lcq

Peters rips the holeshor Laninovich is in second with Bogle in third Second lap and Lano makes his way by Peters. Bogle Gets by Peters only a handful of corners later. Laninovich takes the win and Bogle takes second

Supercross lcq

Kiniry holeshots but throws it away only a quarter of a lap later. Faith has the lead and rides on to take the win and the transfer spot. Clark takes second

Lites east/west shootout

Barcia takes the holeshot Davalos second tomac third Hewitt fourth. Roczen gets into fourth by the end of the second lap. Barcia makes a big mistake at the end of lap three allowing Davalos to catch up on him and he makes the pass putting Barcia into second. Davalos makes a mistake letting Barcia by then Tomac makes his way by Davalos and is pressuring Barcia now. Barcia takes the win and Tomac gets second and Davalos rounds out the podium in third.

450 main event

Alessi with the holeshot, Dungey into the lead in a handful of corners. Metcalfe is in third but he has his hands full with Weimer. 3 laps in and Dungey has a solid 8 second lead. Metcalfe is up to second and Alessi is now in third. Lap 6 and Weimer and Millsaps make their way by Metcalfe. For the next four laps they go back and forth until Millsaps is able to make the pass stick on lap ten . Lap 15 and Dungey has a small 15 second lead. Metcalfe pulls off one lap later with a bike issue. Brayton makes his way around Weimer for third place and stays there for the rest of the main.  Dungey goes on to win the main event!
