250 Moto 1

The fastest qualifier from the days practice Justin Barcia takes the holeshot he’s got Sipes Vincent and the returning Wil Hahn right behind. Eigth minutes in to the first moto Barcia goes down hard he was ripping. He gets up but not before the top ten gets by. Now its sipes in the lead being chased by Wilson ,BB57, Cunningham ,Vincent, Durham, Izzi, Lemoine, Tickle and Rattray. At the seventeen min mark Lemoine’s bike expires. Fifteen minutes in and Wilson and Baggett have caught Sipes. Stewart also had bike problems puling out of the moto while he was trying to make his way through the pack after an early moto fall. With then minutes plus two laps to go Baggett has made his way around his team mate Wilson and also around the dna/shredstix rider Sipes. With three laps to go Wilson gets by Sipes. Baggett wins the moto by over ten seconds. Wilson takes second, Sipes was in third. (4)Cunningham (5)Rattray (6)Durham (7)Tickle (8)Hahn with a great return to racing (9)Seely (10)Vincent

450 Moto 1

Weimer gets out to a great start with Millsaps, Reed, Dungey, and Metcalfe running right behind. Both Millsaps and Reed make quick work of Weimer and now its Davi out front. Not even two corners later and Dungey gets by Weimer as well. Things are happening quick for the 32. Tommy Hahn was out on the first lap with a crash that involved Rv2 and local Josh Lichtle. They have their work cut out for them to make it in to the top five in this moto. Michael Byrne also went out on the first lap with a broken chain. Villopoto is coming through the pack with no visor at this point. At the halfway point Millsaps Reed and Dungey are separated by a mere two seconds.  Reed makes the pass around the outside right before laroccos leap. Then dungey zaps millsaps as well he went from leading to third in a matter of a half a lap. With three laps to go rv2 has made his way up to twelfth and has no visor no side panel and no exhaust. He also just ran a 2.14 to the leaders 2.16 the guy is on a championship mission. Last lap and Reed is leading Dungey by a second. dungey goes for a pass reed slams the door this is the closest they’ve been the whole race. After 30 minutes plus a lap and a half in 105 degree heat with 6000 percent humidity. These guys are absolute machines and Reed takes the win with Dungey in second Millsaps had a solid ride for third. (4)Metcalfe (5)Brayton with his first top five of the year. (6)Short (7)grant (8)Alessi (9)Villopoto (10)craig

250 Moto 2

WIl Hahn in his second moto of the year pulls an absolute monsterous holeshot. He has two monster energy Kawasakis behind him though. Justin Barcia never left the gate with a bike problem. Both Baggett and Wilson make quick work of Hahn and now its bb57 dw15 and wh31. This may be the best start bb57 has got in the past few rounds. After lap two Durham is also out with a mechanical bummer for the privateer. Ten minutes in to the second moto and it’s a monster energy Kawasaki train out front with BB57 DW15 and TR28 out front.  Halfway point and BB57 is once again dropping the hammer and gapping DW15 then its Rattray, Cunningham, Hahn, Tickle, Seely, Davalos, Stewart and Izzi are the top ten. Baggett takes the win by 12 seconds over Wilson  Rattray was third. (4) Cunningham (5)tickle (6)Hahn with another strong finish (7)Davalos (8)Stewart (9)Izzi (10)Seely

450 Moto 2

Rv2 gets off to a much better start by taking the holeshot Dungey and Reed are second and third Alessi fourth. Halfway through the first lap and Alessi has gotten by Reed. Ten minutes in and rv2 has set the fastest lap of the day and has gapped Dungey. Twenty minutes down and Reed finally gets by Alessi getting him in to third which will be good for the o/a. Ryan Villopoto takes the win and third o/a Dungey takes second and second o/a reed takes third and first o/a. (4)alessi (5)Metcalfe (6)Windham (7)Brayton (8)Short (9)Weimer (10)Craig

With a two week break leading in to the next round at Millville I’m sure plenty of these guys are thankful for some downtime. Tomac and Paluzzi will be resting from bad crashes here at red bud. Grant will hopefully be able to get some strength back in to his knee and come back and finish both motos. And we will see if dungey and Wilson can find that little bit of speed they need to make it up to the top step in both motos.
