Sin City Race report

The Final round is upon us after a hellacious series with lots of injuries more first time winners and three championships won before the final round here in vegas. The Most exciting part of the night will be the Shootout bringing the best of west and baddest of the east together for one night. The track once again was trying with some serious timing sections and peaked out triples.

 

East main event.

Barcia takes the early lead with Roczen and Baggett in second and third. After the start Barcia started inching away from Roczen in second who made a pass around Baggett. Stewart is in fourth riding solid laps. Half way mark and Barcia makes a big mistake allowing Roczen to close up on him.  But Barcia puts in a solid lap and build up his lead again. Barcia Takes the win with Roczen taking second place and Baggett in third.

West main event

Tomac comes out with the lead Davalos in second Anderson third. Musquin is fourth. Tomac is a man on a mission. Wilson is up to fourth by the third lap and is going after the rockstar energy riders Anderson and Davalos.  Wilson is into third with 10 laps to go. Then 1 lap later he is into second place. With 9 laps to try and catch Tomac. Halfway point and Tomac way out front Wilson in second with Davalos in third place. Lap ten and its still tomac way out front Wilson second and Davalos has all he can handle by Hahn.  Hahn gets by Davalos and is into third place. Tomac takes the win Wilson takes second and Hahn third.

Heat 1

Millsaps takes the holeshot but he’s got Weimer and short right on him. Two laps in and Millsaps has two bike lengths over Weimer. The battle for fifth was heating up between Grant Bowers and Faith. Millsaps goes on to take the heat race

Heat 2

Alessi takes the holeshot Brayton is second with Izzi third. Brayton takes over the lead and has a gap over Alessi, Dungey and Izzi. Izzi makes his way into second place and looks to be going after Brayton. Izzi goes down but remounted in fifth place.

Peters rips the holeshor Laninovich is in second with Bogle in third Second lap and Lano makes his way by Peters. Bogle Gets by Peters only a handful of corners later. Laninovich takes the win and Bogle takes second

Kiniry holeshots but throws it away only a quarter of a lap later. Faith has the lead and rides on to take the win and the transfer spot. Clark takes second

Lites east/west shootout

Barcia takes the holeshot Davalos second tomac third Hewitt fourth. Roczen gets into fourth by the end of the second lap. Barcia makes a big mistake at the end of lap three allowing Davalos to catch up on him and he makes the pass putting Barcia into second. Davalos makes a mistake letting Barcia by then Tomac makes his way by Davalos and is pressuring Barcia now. Barcia takes the win and Tomac gets second and Davalos rounds out the podium in third.

450 main event

Alessi with the holeshot, Dungey into the lead in a handful of corners. Metcalfe is in third but he has his hands full with Weimer. 3 laps in and Dungey has a solid 8 second lead. Metcalfe is up to second and Alessi is now in third. Lap 6 and Weimer and Millsaps make their way by Metcalfe. For the next four laps they go back and forth until Millsaps is able to make the pass stick on lap ten . Lap 15 and Dungey has a small 15 second lead. Metcalfe pulls off one lap later with a bike issue. Brayton makes his way around Weimer for third place and stays there for the rest of the main.  Dungey goes on to win the main event!

SLC RACE REPORT

Staying true to form the series continued to surprise a lot of people with lots of falls and even more injuries taking place in todays practice taking Seely and Baker out of the night show. The track was as challenging as we’ve seen the entire year with some tough rhythm sections and tight corners. The dirt in salt lake is opposite of what we had last week in seattle much drier with lots of rocks. The fast qualifiers of the day were. Dungey overcame the 2 bad practice sessions and set a 47.110.  Also Marvin Musquin took the pole position in his respective class 47.129. This is how the night unfolded.

Lites qualifying

Heat 1

Moss takes the holeshot With sipes right behind. Sipes and Plouffe jump over his head and are now in second and third. Sipes pushes the front end and lets Wilson by. Last lap and Wilson is being chased hard by Hahn but is able to hold him off for the win.

Billy laninovich took the holeshot but Musquin took the lead in the first rhythm. Davalos Anderson and Tomac get by Lano and are chasing the Frenchman down. Half a lap later Davalos goes inside of musquin and takes him down. Davalos is leading but gets passed by Tomac in a half of a lap. Tomac goes onto take the win

Weimer takes the start Short is right behind along with alessi and everyone else. Weimer is out front leading with Shorty stalking him quietly. Weimer and Shorty are walking away with the heat at the halfway point. Tickle moves into third with three laps to go. Weimer takes the heat race win

Dungey with the holeshot  But loses it quickly to brayton. Then millsaps into second.  Dungey finally settles going backwards into fourth. Brayton is getting pressured hard by Millsaps and dungey can’t make his way around Bowers. Millsaps makes his way around Brayton with one lap to go. Milsaps takes the win

Lites main event

Anderson takes the holeshot hes followed by Musquin Wilson and Davalos. Anderson is pulling out and Wilson is into second. Musquin Tomac davalos moss and Wilbur are in a pack coming through. Tomac is into third and chasing down Wilson. Five laps in  Anderson leading Wilson second Tomac third Davalos fourth Wilbur Firth musquin sixth. Two laps later Tomac makes his way by Wilson, Then Anderson makes a big mistake and now Tomac is all over him. Tomac by Anderson and into the lead. Three laps to go and Wilson crashes hard! He’s out of the race. Tomac last lap leading like a boss and he wins the championship.

Supercross main event

Millsaps with the holeshot Dungey and Weimer are right there. Weimer sneaks by Dungey after the whoops.  Second lap and Weimer is behind Millsaps and Dungey is still third. Short and Brayton in sixth and seventh Lap seven and Millsaps is still clicking off great laps out front Weimer and Dungey are still stalking him. Beginning of lap 8 and Dungey and Weimer are going at it. Weimer runs him high with dungey going down. Dungey remounts in third but has a bit of time to make up to get back to the front guys. Half way mark and Millsaps looks to be losing some time to Weimer. Five laps to go and Millsaps has a comfortable lead but Weimer has Dungey coming in hot. Brayton is allover Alessi for fourth. Dungey passes Weimer on lap 17 with absolutely no contact. Millsaps with lots of mistakes on the second to last lap hands the win over to Dungey.

Seattle Race report

Seattle supercross

The 450 class has as much as shock as we’ve seen in weeks after Alessi making a fastest lap of the night with a 53.735. Marvin Musquin came out of the break swinging and took the fastest time in his respective class as well with a 54. 121. The Seattle track was trying through the entirety of practice and will most likely be challenging all night. Dungey is back this weekend and is looking to chase after second place in points. Let’s see what the night had in store.

 

Lites qualifying

Heat 1

Wilson takes the holeshot with Davalos and moss right behind. Tomac started mid pack. Then only a lap later Tomac is up to fifth by the second lap. Wilson looking really good out front leading from start to finish taking the win. The racing behind the leader was pretty much follow the leader.

Roczen takes the holeshot and does a big triple over the dragon back. Half a lap later and villopoto goes back and forth with Roczen and eventually takes the Lead position. Roczen is running second with Brayton in third. The top five is pretty spread out at this point. Villopoto takes a easy win followed by Za german Roczen

Millsaps is third with Regal in fourth. Regal gets in on Izzi and Izzi suffers a stall and falls out of Qualifying position. Dungey goes onto take the heat race win with Weimer finishing second

Lites west main event

Sipes sneaks away with the main event holeshot he’s out front leading Wilson is Second with tomac quickly making his way into third place. Wilson and Tomac go back and forth for a few laps with Wilson slamming Tomac off the track. Tomac gets back on the track and goes back after Wilson. Three laps later and tomac returns the favor on Wilson and slams him hard taking him down.  Wilson gets back up in seventh. The race for third got heated between  the likes of Seely Hahn and Musquin. Late in the race Musquin gets by everyone including Tomac with a bike issue and makes it into second place. Ryan Sipes takes the main event win and his first of the season.

Shorty with the holeshot Roczen second Weimer third Brayton fourth.  End of the first lap and Villopoto goes inside and goes down taking himself out of the race with a suspected knee injury. Five laps in and It’s still short out front. Roczen get’s by but Short gets him back For a solid three laps they play cat and mouse.  Dungey trying to get by Brayton for fourth but Brayton and him get together and Dungey goes down. Half way point and Short is still leading. Roczen in second with Weimer in third. Lap fifteen and Short is still out-front Roczen in second Weimer in third.  Shorty has a comfortable gap on the last lap and takes the main event win and the first of his career. Roczen takes the first podium in the big bikes of his career.

Lites qualifying

Heat 1

Barcia rips the holeshot with Weeck and Nicoletti in second and third. Second lap and Mookie is on the move and is up to third place. Stewart and Nicoletti are engaged in a great battle at the halfway point of the heat race. With two laps to go mookie makes an aggressive pass on Nicoletti to take second place. All the while Barcia is gone out front. Barcia goes on to take the easy win

Metcalfe takes the early holeshot he’s got Weimer and short right behind. Lap two and Metcalfe has some serious pressure from Weimer. Weimer takes the lead from Metcalfe on lap three. Only a handful of corners later and Short makes his way by Metcalfe as well. Izzi was coming through the field in a super aggressive manner! Weimer takes the heat race win.

His lead was short lived with Villopoto sneaking back by as well as Millsaps.  Millsaps was stalking Villopoto closely but goes over the bars hard while exiting a timing section. After that Villopoto had plenty of breathing room out front. Villopoto takes the win followed in by Alessi

Lites main event

Alex Martin rips the holeshot from the outside gate. Durham Barcia and Mookie are running right behind.  Lap three and Durham has made his way around Martin and is putting in some fast laps out front. Mookie is now in second. Lap five and the order is Durham, Stewart, Barcia, Baggett. One lap later and Stewart went down really hard in the whoops. He ends up getting back on the motorcycle in 19th place. Bogle made his way into the top five by getting around his team-mate Barcia.

7 laps to go and Durham makes a big mistake but keeps it on two wheels but has Baggett hot on his heels.  Two laps to go and Durham has pulled back out on Baggett  and has about two seconds over his team-mate. Last lap of the main event and you couldn’t even fit a piece of paper between Durham and Baggett!  Durham holds on and takes the win with Baggett in second.

Villopoto takes the holeshot. Millsaps is down in the first corner. Grant is running right behind Villopoto in second! Alessi is running in third place. With Faith having his best start yet running in fourth place. Lap five both Metcalfe and Brayton make their way around Faith and are fighting each other hard. Villopoto is flat out gone at the halfway point of the main event. Josh Grant is having his best race in years running in second place. He’s still being chased by Alessi, who’s in third place.  With five laps to go Alessi gets tangled up with a lapper and goes down. He has quite a bit of trouble restarting the motorcycle and goes a lap down ending his podium hunt. Villopoto goes onto win the main event. Grant takes second place and Brayton takes third.

HOUSTON RACE REPORT

Houston supercross

Lites qualifying

Heat 1

After a red flag restart, because both Bowers and Hackley go down hard. Barcia takes the holeshot. Martin is in second with Roczen in third. At the halfway point Barcia has a 4 second lead over Martin who is still leading Roczen. Roczen makes his way around Martin on the last lap to take second place. Barcia takes the easy win.

Wharton takes the holeshot and the early lead. He has Bogle pressuring him. Wharton goes over the bars in the tricky timing section but is able to get up and back on the bike. Bogle now has the lead with two laps to go. Bogle goes onto take the heat race win.

Villopoto jumps out to the early lead with Brayton running in second and Izzi in third.  Lap four and Villopoto has already put about four seconds onto Brayton. He kid is flat out flying. Most of the top nine was follow the leader through out the 8 lap heat race with Villopoto taking the easy heat race win.

Heat 2

James Stewart gets off to a squirly start but makes quick work of the first corner and comes out with the lead. He has Windham running right behind. Lap two and there is a big pile up with Wil Hahn Alessi, Thomas, tedder. Weird another crash caused by Alessi. Halfway point and Windham makes his way by JS7. As they go back and forth Stewart makes a small mistake and let’s Weimer get into the mix. Three laps to go and JS7 has the lead but KDub isn’t giving up yet. Right when Kdub was making a run at Stewart he goes down hard!!! He drug his footpeg up the face of the triple resulting in a big endo. Stewart takes the win.

Alessi got out to an early lead taking an easy win. Wil made his way by Faith in the closing laps to take the final position into the main event.

Lites main event

Barcia gets the holeshot with Roczen and Wharton in second and third. Roczen makes a great inside pass on Barcia. Barcia attacks two corners later and Barcia retakes the lead. The race for third is heating up at the five lap mark with Baggett and Wharton battling. Once Baggett made the pass on Wharton he was able to put a few seconds on him immediately and had his sights set on Roczen. Five laps to go and Baggett is still stalking Roczen but hasn’t been able to make the pass just yet. Baggett makes a mistake and gives Roczen a little breathing room. As soon as that happens Roczen makes a mistake and they’re separated by a matter of bike lengths again.  On the last lap Barcia gets tangled with Vincent as he was lapping him. This lets Roczen sneak by for the main event win! Barcia finishes second and Baggett finishes in third place.

Supercross main event

It’s Millsaps that takes the holeshot. By the end of the first lane Villopoto already has the lead. Stewart is buried mid pack. Weimer is running third. JS7 isn’t making any friends while coming through traffic, taking Regal down on lap 5. Only two laps later he goes down hard in the tricky timing section (karma)?! He’s not getting up in any quick fashion. With him going down it’s only 13 laps between Villopoto and his second ama supercross championship.  Villopoto went on to ride a flawless main event. And took the win and the 2012 supercross championship.

TORONTO RACE REPORT

After a solid practice and qualifying session where the track formed nicely the night show was upon us. Brayton and Bogle were the fastest qualifiers going into the night show and looked great all day. Here is how the night show unfolded.

 

Lites qualifying

Heat 1

Barcia takes the holeshot, hes followed by roczen and Martin. Stewart makes his way into fourth by the end of the first lap. Halfway through and it’s still Barcia out front Roczen in second. Malcolm makes his way into third with three laps to go. Barcia takes the win, with Stewart getting around Roczen to take second place. Futrell takes tenth and will be going to the lcq.

Bogle is still making his way back after a stall. Both Bogle and Pelegrini get together over the finish line jump and take each other out. Durham takes the win!

Wilbur has let a few guys by and is in 6th. Millsaps takes the heat race win with Brayton in second. Kiniry after a fall will be going to the lcq.

Bogle rips the Holeshot from the outside gate. Bogles gets out and rides some clean laps. Gibson and Smith go back and forth for the entirety of the race. Bogle takes the win with Gibson makes his way around Smith for the final transfer spot.

Josh Grant takes the holeshot with Kiniry right behind.  Grant rode some solid laps taking the lcq win with Kiniry taking second and the final transfer spot into the main event.

Lites main event

Barcia rips the holeshot, but Roczen jumps by him in the first lane.  Roczen is being stalked by Barcia. Both Bogle and Stewart start way back and off the track. Durham is running third Wharton is fourth. Then on lap 4 Roczen gets a little love tap from Barcia and Barcia takes the lead. Then Wharton and Durham are busy playing bumper bikes and Martin sneaks by both of them. Then they both get Martin back. With Durham in third place. Lap five and Durham pushes the front end letting a few riders by and remounts in 7th. Halfway point and Barcia has a little over three seconds over Roczen. Lap nine and Bowers takes himself and Martin out in a corner. Five laps to go and the top five is Barcia, Roczen, Wharton, Canada, Durham.

Barcia goes onto take the main event win. With Roczen in second and Wharton in third.

Brayton makes his way through the first corner and takes the holeshot. Villopoto, Millsaps, Weimer and Musquin are right behind. Lap 2 and Villopoto made his way around Brayton and is pushing hard to give himself a cushion. He makes a big mistake in the whoops but holds onto the lead. Lap five and Weimer sneaks by Millsaps for the third position. Not a whole lot going on in the front of the pack at the lap nine mark. Lap ten and Millsaps is feeling the pressure from Windham. Beginning of lap ten and Windham makes his way around Millsaps.  Villopoto has a solid 6 second lead over Brayton with 8 laps to go.  Five laps to go and Windham makes his way around Weimer after he made a few mistakes. (due to lappers)  Villopoto takes the main event win! Brayton takes second place With Windham in third

Heat 1

Durham sneaks out to an early holeshot followed by Bowers Canada and Roczen. Baggett is buried deep in the pack. Cunningham goes down in the first turn and has his work cut out for him. Durham is out front at the halfway point but ARoczen is catching him quickly. Roczen goes inside of Durham at the beginning of the last lap and makes the pass. Two corners later and Durham shoots it inside on Roczen and makes the pass stick and takes the heat race win with a nacnac in Roczen’s face. Roczen retaliates with shooting some roost around the corner. Hewitt will go to the lcq.

Three laps to go and Barcia has a bit of a lead over Wharton with Bogle in third. Barcia takes the heat race win followed in by Wharton and Bogle. Catanzaro will be going to the lcq after taking tenth.

Metcalfe puts the power down and gets a great start and the holershot. JS7 is down hard along with Windham and Browne. Lap two and Metcalfe is out front with Seely stalking him. Stewart is still down and is out of the race. At the beginning of lap five Seely gets by Metcalfe for the lead and 100 feet later he drops the front end and lets Metcalfe back by. He remounts in ninth. Metcalfe goes on to the heat race win.

Lites main event

Roczen gets the holeshot. But Baggett sneaks by and takes the early lead. Cunningham is down in the first corner. Barcia started in the ninth position.

Roczen sneaks by Baggett on lap three and puts a small gap on Baggett in a few corners. Barcia is making his way up through the field and makes a small mistake and falls back to tenth.  Lap four and It’s Roczen with Baggett, Wharton, Durham And Bowers running in the top five. At the beginning of lap five and they red flag the race due to Cunningham going down hard.

For the first time in as long as I can remember, they do a staggered start based on running order at the time of the red flag. With the restart Roczen is off and running in the lead again. Durham benefits from the restart and is running in third. Two laps into the restart and Roczen pushes the front end and goes down. See below

 

Handing the lead over to Wharton. Roczen remounts but pulls into the mechanics area to straighten his bike up. Wharton Durham and Barcia all have about the same gaps between them from lap ten to 14. Then the race between Durham and Barcia heats up on the last lap with Durham holding off Barcia for second place. Wharton takes the win and the first of the season.

Supercross main event

Alessi rips the holeshot, Brayton in second with Musquin right behind in third place. Villopoto and Windham start in fifth and sixth but are making up ground quickly.  Metcalfe rounds out in the fourth position. Alessi rounds the first lap in the lead and in perfect position to go backwards. Millsaps is on the move and made his way into the sixth position.  On lap six Brayton makes his way around Alessi  and starts a chain reaction with both Metcalfe and Villopoto making their way around him in a matter of corners. Close to the halfway point and Metcalfe and Villopoto are engaged in a great battle. Villopoto whiskeys it through the whoops and ends up in the corner inside of Metcalfe and makes the pass. Windham is trying to make his way around Alessi and Alessi goons out crossing the track taking Windham down.

 

Brayton is out front with nine laps to go, but Villopoto is catching him quickly. Five to go and Villopoto Strikes on Brayton and makes the pass for the lead. Within half of a lap and Villopoto has already gapped Brayton by about 10 seconds. On the same lap Millsaps rides himself into a podium position by getting around Metcalfe. Villopoto goes onto take the main event win followed in by Brayton and Millsaps.

Well in typical Daytona fashion the weather was completely unpredictable.  It started raining not long after practice and didn’t let up till close to main event time. The riders to round the first lap in the top three are going to have the best chance at a main event win tonight. So let’s go racing.

Heat 1

Jake Canada with the holeshot followed by Bagett, Martin is running third. Baggett makes his way around Canada and into the lead at the end of the first lap. It looked to be follow the leader the entirety of the race. With the track breaking down  quickly its going to be the survival of the fittest. Baggett took a convincing win followed in by Canada.

Barcia sneaks by for the holeshot Baggett and Wharton are following. A lot of follow the leader going on at this point with Brcia gapping these guys with every lap that goes by. Wharton screws up the timing section and lets Roczen sneak by. Baggett starts to put on a charge and is going after Barcia for the win. Baggett falls down and gives Barcia quite a bit of breathing room. Durham makes his way up to fifth place with 5 laps to go.  Then one lap later he gets by both Wharton and Roczen into the third position. Baggett has caught back up to Barcia and is pressuring him for the lead with one lap to go. One hell of a last lap with Barcia holding off Baggett for the main event win!

Lap two and Stewart makes his way around Millsaps for the lead. Windham is running solid in third place and is catching the JGR teammates. Stewart has calmed down a bit and put some time on both Millsaps and Windham. At the halfway mark and Villopoto has made his way up to the ninth position. Four laps to go and Villopoto is up to eighth position. Stewart is way out front on his way to his second win of the season.  Stewart takes the main event win Millsaps takes second and Windham is on the podium in third place

Well the tornadoes seemed to miss the stadium in St Louis and it looked as though there was going to be some great racing for the night! The faste qualifiers for the day were Ryan Villopoto and the rookie Justin Bogle! Lets go racing.

Right before the start of the second lap Stewart hops inside of Metcalfe and makes the pass for the lead. Dungey is having a tough time getting around Seely for third. Both Seely and Dungey make their way around Metcalfe. Stewart takes a convincing win. Gavin Faith took tenth and will be going to the lcq.

Barcia bangs his way through the first corner to take the holeshot. Roczen and Bogle are right behind him. Durham and Baggett both started outside of the top ten. Five laps in and the top three has a buffer over the fourth place of Canada. Durham has made his way up to sixth and is all over Wharton who is in fifth.  A few laps past the halfway point and Bogle is putting some serious pressure on Roczen for second. Barcia is just plain gone out front! Three laps to go and Wharton makes his way by Canada into the fourth position. Bogle goes down on the last lap then gets up and falls over again! He loses the podium position to the likes of Wharton.

ATLANTA RACE REPORT

After a fantastic East Coast lites opening round in Arlington the series headed to “Hotlanta”for the weekend. The track was the most physically demanding and the toughest to date. The sand section flat corners and the monstrous number of 71,000 fans, would make for some great racing tonight in Atlanta. Although Chad Reed was out of the picture the top three of Dungey, Villopoto and Stewart were all looking on point. Barcia and Villopoto were the fast qualifiers of the day.

Justin Barcia took the holeshot, being followed closely by the Rockstar Suzuki mounted rider Blake Wharton. A couple laps later and Barcia washes the front end handing the lead over to Baggett. Stewart gets around Baggett and is leading till he goes down hard in a tricky timing section. Baggett eventually takes the win over a hard charging Barcia. Stewart will be going to the lcq.

Lites Heat 2

Roczen rips the holeshot, leading Bogle and Cunningham. Only a couple laps later Roczen makes a mistake in a corner allowing Bogle to sneak by. Bogle rides out the rest of the heat to perfection. He takes a heat win in only his second try as a professional.

Supercross qualifying

Heat 1

James Stewart jumped out to the early lead and he was followed by The American Honda fill in rider Cole Seely. There wasn’t a whole lot of position changes in the top ten other than Millsaps making his way around Seely for second place. Stewart took the win in convincing fashion.

Heat 2

Dungey with the holeshot, he is followed by Metcalfe. Villopoto rounded the first corner in fifth or sixth. By the end of the first lap Rv had made his way into third behind Metcalfe. Dungey washed the front end at the midway point allowing Villopoto to get around him right as he got around Metcalfe. Dungey remounted and came back to second but was unable to reel Villopoto back in for the win.

Lites lcq

Lance Vincent took the holeshot followed by Catanzaro. The man on the move was Jake Canada who got by Catanzaro then made the pass for the lead in the last corner and took the win. Stewarts bike never left the line with a mechanical dnf

Supercross lcq

Kiniry jumped out to the early lead followed by Partridge. Partridge makes the pass and is leading until he makes a mistake in the sand section handing the leads back over to Kiniry. Kiniry rides it in for the lcq win with Partridge taking second.

Lites main event.

Barcia takes off to an early lead making his main event much easier on him then the previous week. Roczen hit the gate and will be starting from way back. Baggett is second and Durham runs in the third position. On lap three both Wharton and Bogle get by Durham. Lap five and Roczen has made his way up to eighth. Barcia is gone out front and putting in some very solid laps. Five laps to go and the battle between Wharton and Bogle is in full swing. Bogle makes the pass and is in third place with four laps to go. Barcia goes on to make it two for two and takes the main event win!

Supercross main event

The American Honda fill in rider Cole Seely grabs the holeshot! Dungey is running in second right behind him. Villopoto and Stewart both start in the back half of the top ten and have their work cut out for them. Five laps in and it’s still Seely leading Dungey and Millsaps. Villopoto has made his way up to fourth and Stewart has made his way up to Fifth. Dungey makes his way around Seely on lap nine, Stewart makes his way around Millsaps on the same lap into the fourth position. Villopoto makes his way around Seely one lap later, and is now in second position. One lap after that it’s Stewart getting by Seely.  The running order with 8 laps to go is Dungey, Villopoto, Stewart, Seely and  Millsaps. Milsaps gets by Seely for fourth with 4 laps to go. Last lap and Villopoto is the closest he’s been the entire race, but it’s Dungey who takes the win.
